Inyan Ceyaka Otonwe : ウィキペディア英語版 | Inyan Ceyaka Otonwe
Inyan Ceyaka Otonwe or Little Rapids is the site of a nineteenth-century village of Dakotah people known as ''Wahpeton'' or ''People of Leaves''. The site is located near the east bank of the Minnesota River about four miles north of Jordan, Minnesota, United States. ==Effigy mounds== An archaeological dig there revealed an iron axe, an iron tomahawk, a sandstone arrow smoother, and a fish spear. Twenty nine effigy mounds are located just south of the village site, although these pre-date the artifacts by several centuries.
